Work with us on the major events, and help us shape the future of ISCRAM conferences.
Currently, we have many supporting documents and guides, which are currently dispersed in on various sites, and in various forms (pdf, google doc). We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in google docs/google sites to help us set up and organize a platform for knowledge management in a better way – and of course, you are more than welcome to help us work on the content!
Ways ahead – How Can We Make our Events Better?
· Sponsoring Committee: Events
· Description: Set Up and Manage a Google Group to Discuss Track Chairs’ Needs and Shape Future Conferences
Work with us on the major events, and help us shape the future of ISCRAM conferences.
Track Chairs are the back bones of all ISCRAM Conferences, and it is our aim to learn from the past ISCRAM experiences to help us organise better conferences, provide better support and guidelines, and to collect new creative ideas. To this end, we would like to establish a new google group for Track Chairs that should be regularly maintained and updated, including information about upcoming conferences etc.
· Time Commitment: An initial effort of about 15 hours, followed by an optional support role of about two hours per month.
· Association Membership Required? No

Ways ahead – How to Bridge the Gap(s)?
Get the word out - ‘ISCRAM live’ task force
· Sponsoring Committee: Events
· Description: Coordinate and Organise Various Communication Channels for a Better ISCRAM live Experience
ISCRAM live is key to the growth of our community - allowing people from all over the world to participate in our events. We get a lot of respect and kudos for “dog-fooding” - we don’t just talk about how technology should be used in dynamic events, we actually use them. Until now, ISCRAM live has been organised as and when needed, posts on facebook, youtube, flickr and tweets have always been a part of our conferences, but we need someone to lead an effort to develop a plan for how we support event organizers in making ISCRAM Live a standard part of all of our major events. Programming skills are not necessary.
· Time Commitment: An initial effort of 15-20 hours, followed by an optional support role of a few hours per month, and more time is typically needed before and during an event (conference, Summer School, etc.)
· Association Membership Required? No
· Contact: Tina Comes at tina.comes@uia.no
· Sponsoring Committee: Events
· Description: Report about ISCRAM Events on our Website and Social Media Platforms
ISCRAM is very well known for its events (conferences, Summer school, etc). To attract more participants and to foster exchange and discussions beyond ISCRAM events, we need a volunteer to organise, maintain and populate the ‘Events’ section of the new ISCRAM website, on facebook and linked in. Programming skills are not necessary.
· Time Commitment: A few hours per month
· Association Membership Required? Yes
